Embleton Bay Sunset

Article text
With two photographers already on the beach in front of Dunstanburgh Castle the tide incoming and already too high for my preferred image I banked on the setting sun illuminating the clouds that were filling Embleton Bay. Manoeuvring over and around the boulders at the waters edge with tripod and camera bag is treacherous as the boulders are extremely slippy when wet and with the sea washing over the tripod and my feet with every wave it is not the easiest place to photograph from, however for a few seconds the clouds turned pink and I was in position and ready.
